South West Art Glass

Having worked in the medium of glass for over forty years my practice is constantly changing. At present my work revolves around traditional lead light and stained glass BUT with a modern contemporary twist. It is not unusual for me to actually make the glass I am using , also the use of three dimensional glass is also common place. Humour and the unusual content is also used frequently . Glass is one of the most common of materials used today in almost aspect of modern life , To use this medium as an art tool is a never ending surprise both its colours texture strength and fragility .Glass is a constant challenge due to its many constraints but its ability to show its value continues even after fourth or more years .
