TSAS & BRAG Emerging Artist Youth Award

For the first time Tree Street Art Safari and Bunbury Regional Art Gallery offer the Emerging Artist Youth Award to identify, promote and support young and emerging artists living within the Bunbury Geographe region.

The Award is free to enter and is open to anyone who is aged 16 - 26 years and under. The winner will receive a suite of non-cash prizes to further support their practice, and to provide a pathway to a long-term art career.

Successful applicants will be invited to exhibit at the Tree Street Art Safari on the 23rd March 2024. A judging panel will identify the winner on the day. The winner will receive the following worth upwards of $2.500:

• 1 month youth residency at BRAG, to the value $2,250 in kind
• Small materials fee of $250
• Invitations to all BRAG exhibitions for the year
• Opportunity to potentially exhibit at BRAG in the Archive Room
• Professional mentorship including grant writing assistance
• Free entry to exhibit in the 2024 Tree Street Art Safari Youth Garden. Value$75
• Promotion on socials via TSAS & BRAG

• Open to anyone living in the Bunbury Geographe region from Harvey to Busselton, aged 26 years and under
• Applications close 10th February
• Winner will be notified on the day at the event
